All the animals in the forest had packed to leave, some had even started climbing the highest mountain. But not every animal family in the forest had packed and were ready to leave. The Rabbit family was still packing foods and other things they were going to need. Papa Rabbit: “We don’t have much time left sons, we better hurry!”
They were so in a panic that they lost focus. Every other animal in the forest had started their journey, and we're almost at the top of the highest mountain, but the Rabbits were still in their hole, packing. They then decided to leave the rest of their belongings for the sack of their lives, but that’s when it happened!
“CCCCRRRAACKKKKKKKK” “SSSPPLAASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” Everyone turned around, they saw the water coming their way fast! They all screamed while running up to the highest top of the mountain where it couldn’t reach them. But the Rabbit family were stuck in their hole, under all the water. No one would dare to go in and no one knew if they were still alive. Mr. Kangaroo: “OH NO!!!! Papa Rabbit and his family were still in their Warren! Who’s willing to go in and save them?” Everyone started looking at each other and no one was willing to risk their lives for the Rabbit family. “We don’t even know if they’re still alive,” said Mrs. Turtle.
“Yeah no one could survive that big stream of water,” said her brother. They all had lost hope for them, but,
“Wait,” a little voice said coming out of the crowd of animals on the mountain top!
“I’ll go” It was Sandy, the littlest elephant in the forest. They all tried to stop her from going, some even laughed at her. But she jumped into the water like a brave elephant and started swimming towards the Rabbit family’s warren.
